I installed this and cannot over ride this with my background pictures. When I removed it, it has screwed up my system. I cannot get my background pictures to work. All I get is a white screen no matter what I try. If you ever want your background pics to ever work….. do not install. I will call tech support and I find this irresponsible on the developers side. Thanks for the headaches. You get what you pay for.

I find no problems with this app. Espically, during the holiday it looks really nice and homey. Also, it’s free and you won’t regret it.

Really cool app, you can set the 3d fireplace as your background. It lets you add fire and crackle sounds while its set as your background which is pretty cool. you can also use it as your screensaver. after all its free so definitely worth a try!

For a lite version, this application has everything. Definitely download this… perfect for those Colorado winters!

Great animated desktop/screensaver software! Im going for the full version for all of them! This developer does screensavers for Windows, but these surpass those by far!

I use it on my iMac. Graphics and sound FX are great. The heat effect is what makes it work. Great job!!!

i dont have a fireplace but i miss the look and feel of one. this is the next best thing to the real thing! thanks for a wonderful free app!

This is a very enjoyable app, especially when it’s cold outside. But after repeated experiments Ive noticed that it can overheat my GPU diode by as much as 12 - 15 degrees on my new iMac. (The temperature of the GPU has gone as high as 153 because of it and when using other regular applications at the same time.) Ive discontinued using it so my system runs cooler and stays in the NORMAL. The problem is the same on the paid version as well. So if your temperatures are running high, stop running this app and test to see if they come down. Too much heat is not good for the longevity of a computer. Sorry to have to write this, because I would run the app all the time were it not for these problems. If the app can be reconfigured to run cooler Id use it again. It’s a great idea.

This app is charming, and cheery. It does not glitch, and has a few useful options, such as hiding it without quitting, and hiding the dock icon. It also smoothly transitions, without pausing frequently.

I Like this app, its really nice, but I have to agree with others. I notice my laptop get very warm while it is running. I would definately give it a higher score and use it more often if this issue could be resolved.

It has the most abundant, cozy, and beautiful feeling. This christmas it will be on my background. merry christmas

This is so much better than I expected! Great graphics and crackling fire sounds. Remember, folks, its for FREE so youre not going to get real videos of a fireplace or anything. That also means if you dont have to worry about wasting money if you dont like it. Great job, 3Planesoft - cant get much better than this. :)

It does the job. No complaints there. I just wasnt so dazzled by the image quality. Doesnt feel very real, particularly in comparison to this companys other Dynamic Desktops/Screen Savers. You have nice options for sound, though, so you might want to set this up to put you (or someone else) to sleep at night.
